On Friday evening, my wife and I got to talking about our childhood (we don’t have television) and she couldn’t believe that I had never had a teddy bear. I was pretty sure that I hadn’t, but phoned my sister in the UK to confirm. She didn’t answer the call, but called me back the following morning.
