We have got to the point where we are reluctant to tell our clients about the SARS penalties because SARS themselves are being totally inconsistent. Today 4 April 2019, the South African Revenue Service (SARS), started imposing recurring monthly penalties (minimum R250 per return, maximum R13 000). This includes dormant companies!
